For 2009 FAR Bazaar is doing something NEW!

The Tuesday Night Group known as FAR Bazaar is trying something new this year: On the first Tuesday of each month, a Guest Artist will be joining the group to demonstrate a new project. The group will continue working on that project for the rest of the month. Our goals are: to have a wider variety of things to sell at the fundraiser, increase our group member�s exposure to different art forms and art activities, increase socialization, engage the help of the art community, and increase participation in this FREE activity.

January�s Guest Artist was FAR Art Therapist Tessa Bird! Tessa demonstrated paper making to the group. The group will continue to make paper for the rest of the month � possibly to be made into greeting cards during a later month. Tessa was very well received and the paper turned out beautifully!

Upcoming months will feature Glass Fusing, Ceramic Bead Making and Printing.

More volunteer artists are needed. If you or someone you know has an art project that you think would be good for the Bazaar Group, please contact Carissa Pintar at 248-200-9962.

FAR bazaar meets every Thursday from 7:00-8:30pm in Noah�s Art Room. The group is FREE, but interested individuals still need to register with the office at 248-646-3347. All items made will be sold at FAR�s fundraiser, Friends, Flutes and Fa-la-la Concert in November.
